The default behavior is the hover one. This happens when moving the mouse over an image, the entire photo being zoomed around the mouse cursor's position.
When moving the mouse outside the image, a small icon will be shown in the corner of an image, indicating that there's a higher resolution available for the image to be viewed at.
While this can be useful on mouse-controlled devices like desktops, for mobile devices this behavior is utterly useless. That's why the "grabbing" has been added to the plugin.
This enables users to touch and drag to zoom the image just like before. This is similar to click and hold the mouse button down on desktops.
Configurable plugin settings include the zoom ratio level and the zoom-in and zoom-out animation times.
A demo for both effects is included with the Zoom's package.
