jCaption

jCaption can be configured to work in two modes.

Method one: it can show a caption only when the user hovers his mouse over an image.

Method two: it can show a caption under every image at all times.

Both methods should be very helpful in showing more info about an image embedded on a page.

And the best thing about the jCaption is that the caption text itself is taken from the image's "alt" attribute, so there's no need to use any custom attributes.
