Dash And Overview Click Fix is a GNOME Shell extension that fixes the search behavior of the overview mode and dash in GNOME 3.
It replaces the default behaviour by lanching a new instance, and it opens apps in new windows.
To install this extension you must have GNOME Shell installed or Cinnamon. However, keep in mind that it was not tested with Cinnamon.
