For these kind of pages, plugins like Tourist.js can be used, highlighting various areas of a page using popover messages.
Tourist.js supports multi-step messages, Bootstrap styles, and various ways of positioning the tooltip messages.
Users can navigate through the Tourist.js guide by either using one of the navigation buttons, or by clicking the highlighted element.
The plugin is quite easy to install and comes with some examples to help the developer get started on his own intros and presentations.
