jquery.scrollingShadows adds a small shadow to the top and the bottom of the scroll area, shadow that disappears when the user reached the top or the bottom.
The effect mimics the Gmail interface and is reproduced using only CSS3 code.
Using the plugin is recommended in interfaces of the same color where it's hard to notice the presence of a scrollable element.
A demo is included with the download package.
