Mask-It

An input mask is a mechanism that takes the text entered by an user and changes it according to a desired format.

Mask-It can take something like 12345 and convert it to 1-2-3(4)--5 or any other kind of formatting with the aid of jQuery.

The plugin can handle multiple formatting rules on the same page and can be used to make sure users recognize and/or enter the appropriate data in a form.

Usage instructions are included with the plugin.
