Fit.js

Fit.js is a dynamic system for resizing and fitting data inside specified containers.

There are plenty of similar scripts that do this, in many programming languages, but most of them work solely with images.

Fit.js supports any type of HTML element, from text to images and forms, reading the size of the container and resizing the desired element to fit inside based on input criteria.

This input criteria can be area cover rules, vertical or horizontal alignment instructions.

Support for responsive layouts is included, Fit.js recalculating and repositioning the fitted element inside every time the container is resized for various reasons.

A demo and usage instructions are included with the download package.
