Extron Annotator 300 Processor Firmware

This package provides the necessary installation files of Extron Annotator 300 Processor Firmware version 1.03.0002-b001.

Fixes:

- Fixed Issue (originated in v1.02) – Intermittent loss of video and sync on HDMI output 2A. Dependent on video content, HDMI output 2A would intermittently drop its sync. This issue has been resolved.
- Fixed Issue (originated in v1.02) – Audio is intermittently out of sync with video on DisplayPort input. Intermittently when the DisplayPort input is first detected, the audio gets out of sync with the video. This issue has been resolved.
- Fixed Issue (originated in v1.02) – Annotator 300 fails to boot when multiple panels are connected. When 9 or more Dell S2240T/GeChic panels are connected, the Annotator 300 will fail to boot. This issue has been resolved.
- Improved Feature (originated in v1.02) – Improved annotation freehand tool– Updated freehand annotation to have higher resolution, resulting in smoother
lines when drawing curves and diagonals.

Installation steps:

1. Download the firmware file.
2. Run the .exe file. This opens the Firmware Update program, creating a product
named folder within which is placed the firmware file (x.S19).
3. Access the device internal web pages.
4. Select the Configuration tab.
5. On the Configuration page, click Firmware Upgrade on the left sidebar menu.
6. Click Browse. A Choose File window opens.
7. Navigate to the folder (created in 1g) where the firmware upgrade file is saved and select the file.
NOTES:
- Valid firmware files must have the file extension “.S19”. Any other file extension is not a firmware upgrade.
- The original factory-installed firmware is permanently available on the scaler. If the attempted firmware upload fails for any reason, the scaler automatically reverts to the factory-installed firmware.
8. Click Open .
9. Click Upload . While the firmware is uploading, the Upload button changes to “Uploading...” . When the uploading process is complete, the button changes back to Upload. The uploading may take a few minutes.
