ego file manager

ego file manager is a GTK 2 file manager that uses libferris for its VFS and provides evas2, GTK tree, and optional Mozilla browser views.

What is new in this release:

• The ability to set default metadata indexes at startup, a new Ego-search command line tool to initiate a metadata index search, and many small bugfixes.

What is new in version 0.20.0:

• Both metadata and full-text queries are now performed asynchronously.
• Adding files to the index through the side panel is now asynchronous.
• This release has support for ejecting HAL volumes and many speed improvements.
