Tractile

While most image slideshows and photo carousels heavily rely on JavaScript to rotate the slider from one image to the other, Tractile uses CSS 3 to do this.

By doing so, developers have managed to take a lot of size of the library and also take advantage of better browser-native rendering effects, creating a slider that's fast to load and smooth when animated.

Basic slide (vertical and horizontal) and fade effects are supported, and other settings like transition duration and easing effects are also included.

Tractile is written mainly in SASS, and uses minimal JavaScript.

Lots of sample sliders is included with the Tractile download package.
