Starkers

It is a naked WordPress theme created to be a starting point for theme designers.

The themes CSS is almost empty.

The theme's code is free of all presentational elements and non-semantic markup.

In other words, Starkers is a 'blank slate' for future WordPress projects.

Since version 3.0, it's a stripped-back version of the 'Twenty Ten' theme.

Versions prior to 3.0 were based on the now-retired 'Default' WordPress theme.

What is new in this release:

• Re-built entirely from the ground up, using the new 'Twenty Ten' theme as its base.
