The 'Simple slideshow' plugin uses jQuery to creating a simple image fading container for showcasing images.
It can be used as a simple image gallery, a complex featured content slider, or just to rotate graphics at predetermined intervals.
Besides the classic image-after-image sequence, the plugin also supports a "random" mode as well.
Usage instructions are included with the download package's README file.
