HTML4 and CSS2 currently support media-dependent style sheets tailored for different media types.

CSS3 enhance this feature by adding styles based on parameters and conditional logic.

By using media queries, presentations can be tailored to a specific range of output devices without changing the content itself.

Recommended for forcing IE 5+, Firefox 1+ and Safari 2 transparently parse, test and apply CSS3 Media Queries.

Firefox 3.5+, Opera 7+ and Safari 3+ already offer native support.

Requirements:

• JavaScript enabled on client side

Limitations:

• The use of embedded style is not recommended when using media queries, because IE has no way of returning the raw literal CSS text from a style element.
