As its name suggests, wsrep patch for MySQL is an open source patch for the MySQL database designed to use wsrep replication providers to form a cluster.
The wsrep API is an abstract replication interface that supports true multi-master capability, global transaction ID, conflict resolution and detection, and parallel applying.
