Shell Restart User Menu Entry is a GNOME Shell extension that allows you to easily and quickly restart the shell.
It adds an entry to the User Menu, called "Restart Shell".
To install this extension you must have GNOME Shell installed or Cinnamon. However, keep in mind that it has not been tested with Cinnamon.
