Square Shooter

Square Shooter is an open source graphical abstract shooter/arcade game written in Python and PyGame, featuring asteroids and vectors.

In order to play, click the hollow bubbles to shoot them. Square Shooter is a Python port of the HTML5 version written by the same developer.


Being written in Python/PyGame, Square Shooter is a platform-independent game, supporting Linux, Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.

What is new in this release:

• Release 2013-05-14 adds gamepad support. Use the analog sticks to fly and shoot, respectively, and button 1 to play/pause.

What is new in version 2013-04-28:

• New version adds sound and the long-missing Game Over message.
