XnRetro is a freely distributed and cross-platform graphical application that lets users to create stunning photos by applying vintage or instant effects. The software brings easy retro camera effects on your desktop.

Includes numerous vintage effects

The application features 20 color effects, 15 light effects (including bokeh and light leaks), 28 frame borders, vignetting effect, noise effect, as well as the ability to adjust images (contrast, saturation, gamma, etc.). Modified images can be saved locally or shared on social networks.

In other words, XnRetro will help you to add borders, light leaks, retro and vignette effects to your photos with a couple of mouse clicks. It boasts an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) that features a darkish skin and a tab-based navigation, so you can easily switch between its components.

Modify gamma, exposure, saturation, etc.

Users will be able to easily adjust gamma, exposure, saturation, brightness, contrast, red balance, green balance, blue balance, noise, vignetting, and light opacity using the dedicated sliders on the right of the image. Additionally, the final image can have square or round edges.

You will be able to view all modifications in real time, on the main window of the program, while the main toolbar will help you to quickly open or save images, zoom in and zoom out of images, as well as to share and rotate images.

Runs on Linux, Windows and Mac OS X

XnRetro is a cross-platform application that has been successfully tested with numerous GNU/Linux distributions, as well as with the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. Mobile versions of XnRetro also exist for the Android and iOS platforms.

Keep in mind though, that the Linux version of the product works only on 32-bit GNU/Linux distributions. This means that you won’t be able to use the software on modern 64-bit Linux kernel-based operating systems.
