WP Side Comments

WP Side Comments basically adapts the SideComments.js library for WordPress, this library being itself a clone of the Medium.com commenting system.

As with the original, comments are recorded on a per-paragraph basis instead of the classic per-page system.

Small icons are shown next to each paragraph, icons showing the number of comments left by other users.

When one of these icons is clicked, the page's content is moved to the side, and a sidebar holding the comments is slid into view.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

What is new in this release:

• Added support for author URL.

Requirements:

• WordPress 3.5.1 or higher

Limitations:

• Developers will need to modify their site's page template source code to implement this plugin properly.
