WP-CMS Post Control

It not only allows you to hides unwanted items like custom fields, trackbacks, revisions etc. but also gives you a whole lot more control over how WordPress deals with creating content.

This facilitates the use of WordPress more like a CMS, allowing total customization of what authors see and use.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

Features:

• Force standard browser upload instead of Flash upload
• Turn off the revisions feature
• Turn off the auto save feature
• Create a collapsible message panel that appears below the write panel, allowing you to show messages to authors.
