The interface is a bit old fashioned, but simple enough. When you insert a DVD, its contents are shown in a table, and you can pick whatever chapters you want to convert. You can choose to include subtitles with the conversion, great for foreign films.
Each conversion profile, for iPhone and iPod etc can be configured to your needs. You can have a really high quality, large file, or a more economical but worse quality conversion. There are few other options, and while it's perfectly functional, conversions can take a while. We tested a 30 minute file, and it took 30 mins to convert! Despite this, the conversions are good quality, and easy to use.
The other negative point about Winx Free DVD to iPhone Ripper is its limitation to DVD files. Most people own video in many different formats, and it would be much better if it could handle more than just DVDs.
