WATable takes normal HTML tables and converts them to what other developers have started to call "data grid," or "datagrid" components.
These datagrid components are a way to present tabular data using an interface and controls similar to what you usually see in desktop software.
Since Web development languages have evolved during the last decade, such datagrids can now completely be reproduced via JavaScript, and WATable is a good way to go about it.
WATable is packed with lots of features and controls for taking the deprecated way of dumping tabular data on a Web page and adding interactive UI controls for a much better presentation and easier navigation.
On top of it all, it's completely written to work around Bootstrap, the CSS&UI framework that has seemed to take over the Internet these days.
What is new in this release:
- Fixed bool data-binding issue.
- Fixed invalid rendering of empty strings for date/numbers.
- Fixed a problem with checkbox checking/filtering.
- Fixed a problem with sorting and sortEmptyLast option.
