useful.catalog.js is an alternative to those bulky Flash-based magazine widgets, letting developers embed images in a magazine-like display.
This widget is perfect when wanting to insert an online version of a magazine or catalog on your site, allowing users look at scanned prints of the real-thing.
All is done via HTML, JS and a tinge of PHP, with plenty of parameters being available for customization.
These include caching details, color settings, image tile dimensions, page turning duration, initial page to load the magazine, and so on.
A controls toolbar is provided at the bottom of the catalog, which developers can use to zoom the presented images, turn the page, or just jump to a desired page number.
External controls are also supported, letting users control the magazine viewer using links embedded on the page with the rest of the site's content.
