Ubuntu Kameleon is not what you think it is! It’s an open source and completely free distribution of Linux derived from the Ubuntu and Kali Linux Polish Edition operating systems and designed for penetration testing operations. It has been designed for Polish-speaking users in order to train students and interns on information security.
Distributed as a dual-arch Live DVD
The operating system is distributed as a dual-arch Live DVD ISO image, which has been split into four RAR archives of approximately 1GB in size each. This means that you will have download all four RAR archives and extract them somewhere on your disk in order to access the ISO image, which must be written to a DVD disc or a USB thumb drive of 4GB or higher capacity. You can start the live system or perform a memory test
When booting the ISO image from the BIOS of a computer, you will be able to start the live system with default kernel parameters or perform a system memory diagnostic test from the boot menu. Keep in mind though, that the default language is Polish. The user has a choice between GNOME Classic or GNOME Shell
Arrived at the login prompt, the user will have a choice between the GNOME Classic or GNOME Shell interfaces of the controversial GNOME graphical desktop environment. Login using the “root” username and “toor” password. Both GNOME desktops look great and use a pitch black, hackerish dark theme. While GNOME Shell uses a single-panel layout, the GNOME Classic session uses an old-school two-panel layout.
