As its name suggests, TugaSUSE is an open source distribution of Linux based on the popular openSUSE operating system. It features GNOME as its main graphical desktop environment and has been created for the TugaTech community, which means that it uses Portuguese as the default language.
Downloadable as a 32-bit Live CD
The project can be downloaded from Softoware or directly from its official website as a single Live CD ISO image that has been tagged for the i686 architecture. This means that it will run well on both 32-bit and 64-bit computers, but will only support 32-bit applications.Standard openSUSE boot menu
The boot menu of the Live CD is a standard one for an openSUSE-based distribution. It allows the user to start the live environment with default boot options or in safe graphics mode, boot an existing operating system from the local drive, as well as to perform a system memory diagnostic test. The GNOME desktop environment uses the GNOME Shell interface
As mentioned, the default and only desktop environment of this Linux distro is GNOME, with the modern and productive GNOME Shell interface. It provides users with a pure and untouched GNOME desktop experience. Please note that the default username/password combination for the Live CD is “user” (without quotes) and the root (system administrator) account uses the “root” password (without quotes, of course).
