TeraPlot graphing software gives you everything you need to create publication quality graphs for science, engineering, business, and education. TeraPlot is a 2D/3D graphing tool which creates data plots based on either tabular data or mathematical expressions. In addition to a wide range of 2D (1 independent variable) plotting features, TeraPlot provides a sophisticated set of 3D (2 independent variables) plot types which can be used individually or combined to construct a wide range of graphs. These can range from standard surface plotting to complex 3D visualizations comprising mathematical expressions, tabular data, 3D objects, annotation, and image overlay.

TeraPlot can also be driven remotely from another program via COM automation using e.g. Visual Basic, VB.Net, or C#. Controlling TeraPlot from a programming language provides a wide range of possibilities, from writing code which interactively controls TeraPlot via your own dialogs, to creating movies utilising any combination of TeraPlot features you wish.

In addition to its 2D and 3D data graphing and analysis features, TeraPlot brings the power of scripting to mathematical function graphing. Using VBScript, plot definitions can range from something as simple as a single line such as y = sin(x), to complex multi-line scripts containing constants, variables and conditional expressions defining components of an overall formula.

TeraPlot can be used by scientists and engineers to create graphs, charts and visualizations of their data. It can also be used by students, teachers and educators to explore and demonstrate mathematical functions in 2D and 3D.
