To show a Square Menu, the user needs to push a special menu button/trigger.
Once this button pushed, the rest of the page is dimmed out by an overlay and the menu will be animated into view inside a popup box.
This popup box is split in two sections, the left column showing more important options, while the right one shows extra menu links, with a smaller font.
Of course, these display settings and colors can easily be modified by tweaking with the menu's CSS.
The inspiration for this menu concept was the squareup.com website.
As with all of Pete R.'s scripts, a demo is included with the Square Menu package to help developers get started on their own customizations.
Support for desktop, tablet and smartphone devices is included as well.
