SQL Trace Manager is a graphical tool that allows database administrators to manage traces in Microsoft SQL Server. In a contrast to SQL Profiler, it allows to create and control server side traces.SQL Trace Manager is implemented as SQL Enterprise Manager extension snap-in (Microsoft Management Console component). Once SQL Trace Manager is installed, SQL Enterprise Manager will add Traces/Running/Finished folders for every SQL server The user creates a new trace using simple user-friendly interface similar to the SQL Profiler's interface. The user can easily start/pause/stop the traces, schedule trace start-up time, analyze trace results.
