SkipTo was primarily created to help make their site accessible to users with disabilities or using a screen reader.
The library is a replacement for classic skipnav links and works the same way.
This means SkipTo provides a simple mechanism for jumping to one or more sections on the page using a basic popup vertical menu.
The library works whenever the user focuses on a page and shows a simple button with the "SkipTo" text.
When users press this button the popup menu is shown, with shortcuts to various internal page sections or external URLs.
Developers are fully in control of what gets displayed inside the menu, with all the four major page headings being included by default, along with all the major ARIA page landmarks.
A configuration file can also be used to bolster these default settings with elements containing specified IDs or classes.
A simple example is included with the SkipTo download package.
