Show Desktop from Overview is a GNOME Shell extension that will minimize all windows on the current workspace in order to display the contents of the desktop, simply by clicking in an empty space in the GNOME overview mode.
To install this extension you must have GNOME Shell installed or Cinnamon. However, keep in mind that it has not been tested with Cinnamon.
