scannerdolphin-qt is a script that uses KDialog to save settings and use the scanner.
If scanimage (shell commandline) manage your scanner you will be able to scan your images without always typning settings or using skalinte that doens\'t save settings.
Setting are saved here:
$HOME/.scannerdolphinqt.cfg
