The main purpose of Photo Manager is to sort batches of pictures by date taken. It will look at a location that has pictures, create folders named after the year and month the pictures were taken, then move each picture into the corresponding folder. For example, if you had a picture that was taken in January 2014 and another that was taken in May 2014, the first might be moved into a folder named "2014, 01" and the second into "2014, 05".
There are two modes: Basic and Advanced. You can switch back and forth between the two modes at any time. Basic mode provides a simple, easy-to-use interface, but has only a few options for sorting. The advanced mode has lots of options for customizing the way pictures are sorted but has a more complicated interface. The advanced mode includes a feature for fixing the "date taken" property on images. This date can be wrong if the camera's date setting was not correct at the time of taking the picture. I have plans for additional features in later updates.
Key features: Fast sorting of large batches of pictures; Mass file renaming option; Multiple sorting and file selection methods; Save and load profiles for settings; Fix "date taken" tag on pictures if incorrect; Group pictures by event name.
