Network Drive Control (NDC) for Windows Vista, 7, 8 & higher, both 32-bit & 64-bit, is a utility which solves the frustrating problem of wanting your network servers mapped to Windows drives in a network specific manner. Basically, NDC maps network drives network specifically on login equivalently to the way the Windows "default printer" can be set to be network specific. NDC examines the network environment after the user logs in, and based on what network it finds itself on, it will only attempt to map those drives it knows are on that network. Network Drive Control allows you to configure the automatic mapping of network drives when you logon based on the network(s) to which you are connected. An example would be to have your laptop automatically connect and map one set of network drives when at home, and another set of network drives when at work or school, and none if it detects that the PC is connected to a network where no mappings have been configured. Network Drive Control has no limit to the number of networks or drives that can be configured (except Windows built in limits), and drive letters can be redundant. i.e. If on one network you like a resource to be mapped to drive, say, X:, and on a different network you'd like to have a different resource also mapped to X:, you can configure Network Drive Control to do so. Network Drive Control utilizes Windows features built into Windows Vista through10 (both 32-bit and 64-bit). Network Drive Control is free and has a built in help function.

What is new in this release:

1. Fixed bug in Inno Setup installer script that could cause an error when NDC is first run after installation. 2. Minor code cleanup.

What is new in version 1.8:

Version 1.8: Added user adjustable time delay after logon before attempting to map drives. This can be useful if the PC is on a network that takes a long time to stabilize its network connections.

What is new in version 1.7:

Version 1.7 adds
1. Updated copyright notice.
2. Fixed minor display bug in Network Drives list where multiple drives could sometimes inadvertently be selected.
3. Added an optional improved detection method for whether network is up & running sufficiently to connect drives by adding an "aggressive" mode for network detection. (Default is off.)

What is new in version 1.6:

Version 1.6 adds detection for when web.com (who hosts my site) is having reliability problems, and when that occurs, the update check will not offer an upgrade.

What is new in version 1.3:

Version 1.3 adds the ability to get the program to check for updates, either manually or automatically, plus prevents multiple instances from running at the same time.
