MyJSQLView

MyJSQLView is an open source application that allows you to delete, add, edit or view entries in a MySQL database.

MyJSQLView is an easy to use Java based user interface frontend for viewing, editing, deleting or adding entries in a MySQL database.

• This version brings support for the H2 database and its inclusion as a library to the application.

What is new in version 3.44:

• This version adds support for the Apache Derby database, changes to the Query Frame UI, and enhancements to the HeatMapper plugin.

What is new in version 3.41:

• This current release now includes the graphical SQL query builder, QueryBuilder, plugin as a default in the tool.

What is new in version 3.40:

• This version marks a major reorganizational effort regarding the source code and plugin management.
• Though the public will notice little with regard to source subpackaging, the plugin management changes bring the ability to load plugins from remote locations.
• Plugin repositories can now be created by individuals or organizations which wish to provide custom plugins on the basis of a realtime network loading capability.
• In that regard, the MyJSQLView project has added to its own public repository a free Open Source SQL query builder plugin.

What is new in version 3.33:

• This version includes improvements in the efficiency of use for the SQL Query Bucket and an Aggregation/GROUP BY feature for the Advanced Sort/Search Form.
• This release also brings a new default plugin called HeatMapper that allows the plotting of multi-variable numeric data.
• The coding for this plugin solidified the selection of HyperSQL for in memory data analysis.
• The HyperSQL database and JDBC are now included as a library component of the MyJSQLView download.

What is new in version 3.31:

• This version includes support for the HyperSQL 2 and MSAccess databases.
• Included with this update are several corrections for bugs involved with the import of large SQL dumps and table definition generation for unique keys.
• A multi-language PDF export inclusion is now implemented via Unicode embedded fonts.
• The Query Frame for the application has also been expanded to allow direct SQL statement execution.

What is new in version 3.29:

• This version provides two additional features for the application with regard to table state history and a query bucket.
• The table state history provides a standard mechanism just like a Web browser where sort/searches for table data are accessible for previous/next states relative to a queue position.
• The query bucket allows table states to be saved into a handy frame that can be used in a drag and drop method to set SQL statements into alternate receptive applications and MyJSQLView's own plugins.

What is new in version 3.23:

• This release marks the addition of support for the SQLite database.
• New to this release is support for in-memory databases, which is featured for both the SQLite and HSQL databases.
• The plugin architecture allows users to manually load plugins from directories other than the default (lib/plugins).
• The Plugin Basics Tutorial has been updated, and an advanced one has also been created under the documentation of the Web site.

What is new in version 3.22:

• The version marks the completion of the architecture for a modular plugin framework with a threaded loader.
• New to this release is the ability to generate a PDF document of the... summary table data.
• The code has also undergone a major rebuild to bring the application into compliance with the Java 1.5 API.
• The program now requires at least JRE 5.0.
