mapsed.js provides simple methods to let developers build interactive Google Maps.
While these maps are interactive in their own way, letting users navigate the World using their mouse or mobile devices, by "interactive" we mean more than the built-in Google Maps features.
mapsed.js, or Mapsed, actually stands for MAP Select, Edit & Delete.
This means users will be able to edit the data on a current map, add new markers, select existing ones, or delete markers if they're not needed anymore.
This can be done right over on embedded map, without going to the Google Maps website.
A search field powered by the Google Places API can also be added to a map, helping users easily search and find local businesses and known locations.
PS: mapsed.js can also help developers for showing fullscreen maps and multiple "enhanced & interactive" maps on the same page.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- jQuery
