listener

listener is a typical security-related program like the motion package (which detects motion on a Webcam): it listens for sound.

If listener detects any sounds, it starts recording until the sound stops (or a bit later, which is configurable). It stores the audio in .WAV files.

What is new in this release:

• portaudio-versio which is more usable than the alsa version. also cross-platform so listener might now be usable on e.g. windows as well. the portaudio changes and the new filters were developed by Felipe Emmanuel Ferreira de Castro!

What is new in version 2.0.0:

• First version which is using ALSA for sound I/O
