Justbuntu

Justbuntu is a free and open source distribution of Linux that has been created using the Ubuntu minimal install CD, in order to provide users with a clean environment. It uses the GNOME desktop environment, with GNOME Shell, and includes all the essential applications for daily use.

Downloadable as a 64-bit Live DVD

This custom Ubuntu OS can be downloaded via Softoware or from its official website as a Live DVD ISO image of approximately 4GB in size, designed to support only 64-bit (x86_64) hardware platforms.

The boot menu is standard for an Ubuntu-based distribution

Being based on Ubuntu, the distro comes with a standard boot menu that allows the user to start the live environment with default boot options and drivers or in safe graphics mode, start the graphical installer to permanently install the OS to a local drive, run a memory test, and boot the first disk.

Clean and superb desktop environment powered by GNOME

As mentioned, the default and only desktop environment of this Ubuntu-based operating system is GNOME, which provides users with a clean, easy-to-use, modern and gorgeous graphical interface that comprises of a dock (application launcher) located on the bottom edge of the screen and a top panel.

Includes a plethora of open source applications

Being distributed as a 4GB ISO image, Justbuntu includes a plethora of open source applications, among which we can mention BleachBit, Deluge, Empathy, Evolution, FileZilla, Google Chrome, Kazam, Kingsoft office suite, Netflix Desktop, and VLC. Keep in mind though, that there are no login credential, just press the Enter key twice to log into the live session.
