jQuery xFilterList

jQuery xFilterList was created to add a filtering mechanism to a list of elements.

The plugin utilizes the data-* HTML 5 attribute to categorize list elements and then creates a set of controls which can be used to filter the elements with the desired data-filter-* attribute.

List items are shown or hidden using a smooth animation and any type of content can be shown inside the list item, from simple text, to images, and up to complex HTML structures.

xFilterList can be used for online portfolios, image albums, interactive data grids, and any other widget where content needs to be shown or hidden based on its category.

A demo is included with the plugin's download package.
