jQuery.mousetip

jQuery.mousetip is a very small jQuery plugin that does one thing and one thing alone: makes a page element display next to the user's mouse, even while moving.

This behavior is called "mouse following" and was an ordinary practice in older Flash applications.

jQuery.mousetip helps recreate this behavior, allowing developers to display tooltips and right-click menus near the user's mouse cursor, everywhere on the page, or just when hovering a smaller container.

There are two settings that control the X & Y positioning details for the "following" container, allowing developers to add small offsets next to cursor and make sure the content is legible and far enough from the cursor tip.
