jquery.mb.miniAudioPlayer uses the well-known jPlayer engine to embed a player and play audio files.
Besides static audio files, the plugin can also handle radio streams as well.
Developers can customize what buttons appear inside the player, its coloring scheme, and if to use minimized & expanded states to signal an active player.
Users can also control the song's caret position on the timeline, its volume, and can even download the song with the push of a button if this feature is enabled.
An invisible Flash player is used where HTML5 is not supported and this should provide a safe fallback mechanism for users utilizing an older browser.
A basic demo is included with the jquery.mb.miniAudioPlayer plugin package.
