To properly use the JP's Get RSS Feed plugin, administrators must first configure it via a special page in the WordPress administration panel.
Once everything up and running, using the [jp-rss-feed] shortcode, editors can embed a list of recent feed items in their posts, pages, or sidebars.
The settings made in the config page will be the shortcode's default settings, but they can easily be customized on a per-page basis by special shortcode parameters to obtain customized results.
All feed items are retrieved as an unordered lists, with each item linkified to point at the proper feed link.
Other plugin settings include the ability to force all links to open in a new tab, the ability to embed a feed item's featured images and description, and feed results caching.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
