A file filter bar is provided by Free Better Sync, in which you can fine tune the file formats you don't want the folder sync software to transfer in sync operations, saving tons of time copying & deleting unwanted files.
Free Better Sync is able to create mirror of a folder by detecting and deleting the files in the target folder that don't exist in source folder. This way you get an identical copy of the source folder, nothing more, nothing less.
Free Better Sync is able to simulate the synchronizing process to show you a preview of what is going to take place during a sync operation, giving you the potential to find errors before they occur.
Sometimes you may feel the need to synchronize the files in both source and target folders and Free Better Sync provides a button to switch source and target folder so that you can copy the latest versions of files in each folder.
When synchronization is finished, Free Better Sync will generate log report of the process which can be viewed in the program or CSV worksheet. Free Better Sync is also able to auto email the report to anyone right after the job is done.
When you set up sync projects, they are added to a task list with project details showed. You can tick/untick/remove as well as select any of them to open source/destination folder and change the sync options.
