Frame Player

Frame Player works in a very simple way, similar to a sprite or GIF.

It takes a series of images, as defined by a JSON config file and it rapidly plays them in succession, one after the other.

This gives the illusion of a video, but without actually being one.

Frame Player was developed to allow a better control of videos on Web pages, especially on mobile devices where no more than one video can be played at a time on the same page.

Limitations:

• For this video player to work properly, videos need to be converted to stand-alone image frames prior to using Frame Player.
