The "Form validation using jQuery" script implements only basic checks for the user's data.
It will check the form for required fields, email addresses, fields with text, and for checked radio buttons and checkbox inputs.
The difference between this and all the other jQuery form validation plugins? - this script is much lighter than its alternatives and was created for smaller forms where the entered data is in a much simpler format.
The "Form validation using jQuery" plugin also comes with the ability to show error messages and the possibility to attach custom validation rules to individual fields.
A demo is included with the download package.
