filegive is an open source command-line software implemented in the Go programming language and designed to ease the process of sending files via the P2P (Point-to-Point) protocol.
With filegive, users will be able to send and receive files from their colleagues, in a secure and safe environment, with ciphering and authentication, and without the need of a third party server software.
filegive can be used for sending files through Internet, sending files to a person in the same LAN, In a .mailcap file on your server, where you check your emails with mutt through SSH, as well as to provide pastebin type URLs through IRC.
