fastuts.js works by dimming out the page and highlighting only a specific section of the page.
A tooltip is shown next to this highlighted section, inside which descriptive text and images can be shown, giving a small presentation about that item's feature set.
Next, previous, and close buttons are shown as well, used to navigate through these help tips and for closing it when not needed anymore.
Keyboard navigation is supported, along with the ability to automatically scroll through each message at specified time intervals.
The color of the overlay and the text shown with the fastuts.js buttons is also up for customization.
fastuts.js comes with a demo page to show developers how the plugin can be implemented in their own projects.
