Besides just colorizing the menu options, entering the 'hide' word in one of the color fields will make desired admin options disappear.
Because of this the 'Easily Change Admin Color' plugin can be useful in case we want to highlight certain menu options, or even hide possible menu items that the client won't be able to use without proper training.
Easily Change Admin Color works with the old and the new (post WP 3.8) admin interfaces.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
