dvdisaster is an open source graphical software written in C and designed to provide an error correction tool for preventing data loss on CD, DVD and BluRay media caused by scratches or aging.
dvdisaster is engineered in such a way that it can create error correction codes that will compensate read errors, which are not corrected by the CD-ROM, DVD-ROM or BD drive.
