BeatPicker is a nifty little tool that can simplify the process of acquiring date values from your users.
Instead of forcing them to type complex date strings in even more complex and stringent date formats, with this small plugin, users can simply click on an icon or focus inside a form field and a popup calendar will appear from where they can make their date selection.
BeatPicker will allow users to easily navigate entire years and months, getting to the date they want, which they can then select with the push of a button.
The user's selection will then be simply converted into an usable date, in the format the developer wants to store it in.
Support is included for disabling specific dates from the selection process, customizing the BeatPicker interface, and even for broader range selections (start and end periods).
The date picker can be used in a popup form or embedded inline with the rest of the page, developers can turn on or off various buttons, and they can also disable the widgets header or footer sections as well.
