Arch User Repository

AUR (Arch User Repository) is an open source framework that can be used to host a collection of packaging scripts, which are created and submitted by the Arch Linux community.

The scripts contained in the repository are comprised of the main PKGBUILD file, as well as install files, which can be built using the makepkg utility, Arch's building and packaging tool.

the result can be installed via pacman, Arch's package manger command-line application. The Arch User Repository project aims to provide the necessary web-based interface, scripts, and database schema for a multi-lingual community-driven software repository.
