Apache MRQL

MRQL stands for MapReduce Query Language.

It's a query language for NoSQL MapReduce systems, inspired by classic SQL languages.

MRQL was especially created to work with Hadoop, Hama, and Spark.

It was created to help out in dealing with large amounts of data, while also providing better manipulation and query features than already existing query languages like HiveQL and PigLatin.

What is new in this release:

• Added as an Apache Incubator project.

Limitations:

• The project is still under development in the Apache Incubator repository and might change drastically from version to version.
